What is blogging?

It’s just like publishing a short story regularly, especially for creative writers. People blog about different things: politics, relationships, finance, health and wellness, personal life, history and so on. Some people do it for fun. Others make money through blogging.

Most bloggers lives revolve around finding the next topic for their blog post. But one thing they learn very swiftly is to focus on their readers. The target audience. They are like a bunch of people you were able to convince but moment your content deteriorates, they flee, never to return. In the beginning, it is tough and the first fifteen minutes while writing any post are the toughest. But with the time you learn to survive and if you are passionate about your topic you learn to create awesome content consistently.

For all the hard work you put into writing an article, blogging still manages to surprise you both in a nice way and also in a very unpleasant way. After a while, you understand the fact of life that you cannot please everyone all the time.

What it takes..

Blogging takes –

  • patience
  • consistency
  • research
  • quality
  • passion

To do it well, it is like writing for a living. And that is HARD WORK.

100 Blog Posts

Today my blog will be 100 articles old. I started this aviation blog to bring direct experience of military pilots, commercial pilots, aviation managers, leaders, cabin crew, engineers, designers and endless possibilities of their interaction which makes aviation safest form of travel as also airpower the deadliest weapon of war to the people.

And I am enormously proud to be able to say that readers and subscribers have grown and the rate of growth is accelerating. I am tremendously excited to continue exploring new horizons and expanding new possibilities. I would not have got to this point without you and your support. I got a chance to work with some extraordinary pilots, scholars, contributors, and artists who produced insightful stories and thought-provoking content. I would like to share some of the highlights from the last 100 posts and give you a sneak peek of my favourite. Please check them out and also let me know how they have inspired you.

Many thanks one and all.

I will continue to invest time to ensure quality and depth to our stories to bring out the beauty of aviation and life of aviators for my readers. I hope that you will join me now on this next stage of the journey along with the scores who have done so far.

I assure that together we will break new ground, reach new heights and cross new frontiers.

And there’s more to come!
