Hi, I’m ….

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoyed reading some of the content of this Blog. I really love bringing it to you!

A bit about me… I am Anil Goyal and in the real world, I’m an airline pilot.

I have more than 7500 flight hours on variety of military and civil fixed wing aircraft (more than 30 types of aircraft ranging from gliders to fighter jet). I am graduate of IAF test pilot school and also a Qualified Flight Instructor (IAF), teaching at all levels from flight cadets to operational pilots. As an experimental test pilot I have more than 300 hrs in experimental flight testing. I participated in flight test activities on performance, stability and control, envelope expansion, handling qualities and avionics. I have vast experience on production flight testing also.

I am member of Aeronautical society of India and hold multi engine instrument rating. I am based in Hyderabad, India and mostly do domestic routes. In my spare time, I enjoy reading about aviation, airlines and aircraft. I also enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family.

The aim of this blog is simple one…. to guide budding pilots by providing guidance that transforms the trajectory of their aviation career and life, to be more informed and safer pilot.

I was inspired by Todd Henry’s book, “Die Empty” where he did his best to motivate people to pour out their ideas and knowledge in their communities. The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: “Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have. Always choose to die empty.”

If you have an idea, perform it.

If you have knowledge, give it out.

If you have a goal, achieve it.

If you have a dream, follow it.

Share and distribute, do not keep it inside.

Let us begin to give and share.
