It tells us nothing about&nbsp;<em>why<\/em>&nbsp;they flew it that way, what&nbsp;<em>alternatives<\/em>&nbsp;they considered, or how they&#8217;d respond if automation failed mid-approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">As automation proliferated, this blindness became dangerous.
