1000h LT: SOS received for Casevac (casualty evacuation) from a tense mined area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situation: A lady was bitten by a Hippo and her leg was hanging loose by a cartilage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1100h LT: Briefed and Launched<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1300h LT: Rescued and brought back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1305h LT: Relatives spotted, who had come to pick her up on a bicycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1310h LT: Failed to convince them for hospital transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1311h LT: Relatives refused any further assistance or intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1315h LT: Taken away on a bicycle ambulance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next Day, Same year: She survived.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mission accomplished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Few lessons from an assignment like this ..
1. Material contentment is to possess nothing. Though the material is abundant. 
2. Temperatures and Tempers, both are destructive.
3. Water is precious and expensive, water sovereign bonds are a good investment.
4. Roads are important, so are mines.
5. Yellow fever has a vaccine.
6. Happiness has unknown forms.
7. Good health is a luxury. Health care is not a choice.
8. Kids can be detailed to volunteer.
9. Music is a lifeline, so are weapons.
10. Life is precious, death comes often and too early.
11. Oil can dictate, food habits and strategic alignments at the same time.
12. Beer is cold. Prado drives well.
13. The Nile is God. Survival is routine.
14. People are very affectionate, caring, simple, exploited, hardworking and resilient. 
15. Mango has 2 to 3 seasons per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the people of this country and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police is Pulls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singh is Happy.
Happy Sings too.
Tommy could be a dog’s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come-outside is 12.
Hurry up is 36.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doctor is Daxsaab.
Maayeowey is an emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Khotey da Puttar’ is grandma’s callout.
Khota is akin to Babu \/ Shona \/ Bro
‘Langar di daal’ cant be replicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning is self reflection time.
Evening is 8pm with 30ml water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunger doesnt exist.
Genorosity is a culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sterol in Chole-sterol is Bhature.
Egg is highly respected.
Kyonki woh Chicken ka my baap hai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Oye Sonyo’ is a marriage proposal.
Dhol cures arthritis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarson is worshipped. Makki its pride.
Mooli is naughty, Gur the monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love is pure and so is Ghyo (ghee). Trust is blind and so is the bus driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
