The aviation industry that we see today made gradual strides in early years from 1909 to Second World War, when aviators chased records, seeking glory for themselves and their nations. Today, I luckily chanced upon and read two interesting article on one such race, depicting early days of aviation in India. An air race which is considered as a legend. It has a unique place in Indian aviation history. This race was proposed by by HH Aga Khan, for the quickest flight either way from Karachi to London.
