Every day is a new flight. Every day is a new beginning. Every blog is a new challenge. I love this medium of blogging as I am able to reach out and share my stories with others. It has been a long way, since Feb 2020 when I first published my blog.
Over the years I have started to trust my writing and intuition more than ever.
When I discover some good aviation blog, my heart sinks. I feel jealous and almost kill myself for not thinking about this earlier. And I secretly tell myself that with time I will get better and will shape the world aviation. Yes I can be so naive.
But I understand what matters. I just want to write about my feelings, my thought process and so on. My idea, perception, assumption, concept and belief changes as I start to write. I get high on the energy and the power that the creative world carries.
I do not count the number of words I write.
Sometimes a word just comes out on its own. I was not aware of it but it was lurking silently in that corner of my mind. My unconscious was guiding the conscious.
Flying has not been same since I started blogging. It has become an art of discovery. It makes me smile with content.
Blogging offers power to immortalise every idea into words.
I wake up anxious but also content that people have found some value in my blog.
I wake up feeling responsible, but also free. People are free to read my ideas and I understand why it matters and makes me answerable.
Sometime, I just go blank. I just pick up books and read. And as I get ready and wear my epaulettes, something strikes me and I smile and I breathe. I wait impatiently for the flight to get over and start to write.
And then there are friends – Capt Akshay and Capt SK Tripathi, who come along in the journey. They help shape me further.
Every day is a new learning and a new beginning.
